Paving the Path to Recovery

Axis Behavioral Health & Recovery

As Central Louisiana’s leader in outpatient addiction treatment, Axis strives to increase care access to those suffering from opioid use disorder (OUD). An overdose occurs approximately every 15 minutes as a result of opioid addiction. Unfortunately, the nature of this substance makes recovering on your own with no medical support significantly debilitating.

If you’re ready to rid your life of addiction, our team stands prepared to help you break dependency and learn the behavioral skills needed to get your life back on track.

Treatment for OUD

When it comes to solutions that work, Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) with Suboxone is statistically proven to be more effective in stabilizing and treating opioid addiction. Axis is currently the only outpatient clinic that accepts most forms of insurance for OUD treatment through the use of Suboxone (Buprenorphine).

If you are seeking treatment, this is our process:

STEP 1: Get a Diagnosis
The first step is to receive a clinical diagnosis of OUD. Once you’ve been medically evaluated by an Axis specialist, you can begin treatment.

STEP 2: Receive Treatment
Our specialists work with your needs to administer Suboxone as needed and monitor your progress. We also provide therapy to help you identify problematic behaviors that could trigger a relapse.

STEP 3: Participate in Follow-Up Care
The main goal of recovery to get healthy and remain addiction-free. To help our patients accomplish this, we provide comprehensive care and behavioral counseling that includes group and one-on-one therapy services as well as psychiatric treatment as needed.

Financing

In order to make our services as easy to access as possible, we accept all forms of major insurance to help finance your treatment.

This includes:

Medicare
Medicaid
Certain Private Insurance Carriers
